The Louisiana Department of Education recognized the exceptional achievements of our sister institutions, GEO Prep Academy and GEO Prep Mid-City, situated on the northside of Baton Rouge, by honoring them with the prestigious Top Gains Honoree Award. We are thrilled to extend this successful educational model to the Baker community.
GEO Next Generation High School Opened in 2019 with 9th grade, and made Baton Rouge history in 2023 by having 6 students in their inaugural graduating class that graduated with an associate degree.
ENROLLMENT PROCESS
Families can apply for registration for school year 2025-2026 by completing the form. A school representative will be in contact by email and/or phone to answer any questions. Once an applicant has been offered a seat at our school, they can pick up a registration packet at the school to complete and return with the required documents listed.
Once seat availability is determined, applicants will receive an offer to enroll based on first-come, first-served. If we receive more applications than available seats, we will run a lottery to determine which students receive an offer of enrollment. All other students who applied will remain on our waitlist until a seat becomes available.
